About This Model
The Aventon Soltera 3 Step-Over is a great fit for riders who want an e-bike that still feels like a simple, lightweight bicycle. At 37 pounds, it is easy to handle, easy to park, and easy to enjoy around New Orleans, whether you are commuting, running quick errands, or just getting back outside more often. To keep that clean, lightweight profile, the battery is integrated inside the downtube and charges while installed on the bike.
What makes this bike stand out is the Gates Carbon Belt Drive. There is no chain to oil, no rust to worry about, and much less routine drivetrain maintenance. The single-speed setup keeps things simple, so you can hop on and ride without thinking about shifters, derailleurs, cables, or adjustments.
You still get the modern e-bike help that matters. The Soltera 3 uses a torque sensor for natural-feeling pedal assist, a 250W sustained rear hub motor with 500W peak output and 40Nm of torque, Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, integrated lights with turn signals, and a battery system rated for up to 70 miles under ideal conditions. It is a Class 1 e-bike, which means pedal assist only, no throttle, and a ride feel that stays close to a traditional bicycle.
