For everyday trips, compare commuter and fitness models. Folding bikes can help with storage, but check their folded size and lifting weight. Cruisers favor an upright position; cargo and wider-tire models may suit different loads and routes. Test ride before deciding.

A $1,200 voucher can cover the bicycle portion of some lower-priced models, but it never pays sales tax. A more expensive qualifying bicycle can be purchased by paying the remaining balance and full-price tax.

Why Buy Local Instead of Buying a Box Online?

On many of the brands we carry, our in-store pricing is generally aligned with the brand's direct-to-consumer website pricing. The difference is what happens before and after you ride away.

Our ready-to-ride price includes professional assembly, tuning, safety testing, a road test, firmware updates where applicable, and one complimentary follow-up check and adjustment within the first 60 days after purchase. The follow-up covers brakes, shifting and fasteners; parts are charged separately. After 60 days, service is not included in the complimentary check. Additional maintenance and repairs are paid services. Our service department is reserved for bicycles purchased from us. The same ready-to-ride price applies with or without a voucher. Sales tax is additional.

New qualifying bicycles for voucher purchases

The voucher applies to a new qualifying e-bike purchased after voucher issuance. Used bikes and prior purchases are not voucher purchases. Non-voucher customers may ask us about other options; no unapproved promotion or inventory is promised here.

Your purchasing options

• Selected, but no voucher yet: Research models and complete the official verification and training steps. Wait for issuance before purchasing for the program.
• Issued voucher: Compare bicycles, budget for full-price tax and any remaining balance, then redeem in the French Quarter.
• You may pay your remaining purchase balance directly. If you wish to borrow, discuss options with an independent lender. Our shop does not approve loans or collect financial applications. The same ready-to-ride price applies with or without a voucher.

Follow the official program process

Round-one applications are closed and selection notifications have begun. Selection is not an issued voucher. Follow the official notice, complete eligibility-document verification, then attend the required in-person training. The City says your voucher is issued at the end of that training. Wait for your issued voucher before purchasing for the program; prior purchases are not eligible. Round two is expected in Spring 2027.
