About This Model
The Aventon Level 4 REC Step Over is a commuter-focused electric bike built around a 750W rear hub motor, a removable 36V, 20Ah, 733Wh internal lithium-ion battery, and up to 75 miles of estimated range. It is designed for riders who want everyday transportation with strong acceleration, practical comfort, and connected security features.
This REC version uses Aventon's hub-drive platform with regenerative braking, Ride Tune, 4G/GPS features, unusual activity detection, E-lock, Hold Mode, and remote notifications. Certain connected features require a 4G data connection, with a complimentary first-year subscription beginning from product service registration.
For comfort and utility, the Level 4 REC includes an 80 mm suspension fork, suspension seatpost, rear rack, fenders, integrated lighting, hydraulic disc brakes with e-cutoff, an included throttle, and an 8-speed Shimano drivetrain. The Step Over frame is offered in Regular and Large sizes for a more traditional commuter-bike fit.

Other Aventon-branded components are covered for 1 year. Authorized dealer labor for verified manufacturer defects is covered for 1 year. The frame warranty can be upgraded to lifetime coverage for the original owner when the e-bike is registered with Aventon within 90 days of purchase. Normal wear items, crash damage, neglect, improper maintenance, aftermarket structural changes, stunt use, commercial use, courier use, and rental fleet use are not covered.

Using this model with a voucher
This model qualifies for the instant rebate voucher available through the New Orleans E-bike Incentive Program.
