About This Model
The AIMA Santa Monica is designed for riders who want a comfortable, approachable e-bike for everyday transportation, recreation, and longer relaxed rides. Its low step-through frame makes getting on and off easier, while the upright riding position, swept-back handlebars, wide saddle, and 27.5-inch tires create a stable, natural feel for riding around New Orleans.
Power comes from a 750W Bafang rear hub motor producing up to 73Nm of torque. A torque sensor measures how firmly you pedal and adjusts the motor assistance to match, giving the Santa Monica a smoother and more intuitive ride than an e-bike that relies only on a basic cadence sensor.
The removable 48V 15Ah battery provides a stated range of up to 60 miles under ideal conditions. AIMA also equips the Santa Monica with Tektro hydraulic disc brakes and large 203mm rotors, an SR Suntour suspension fork with a thru-axle, a Shimano Altus 8-speed drivetrain, an integrated 100-lux headlight, a rear brake light with turn signals, full fenders, and a practical rear rack. AIMA sells its e-bikes through authorized local dealers, so the bike can be professionally assembled, test ridden, and supported after the sale.
