Answers to Common Bike Sales Questions
Buying a bike — especially an e-bike — is a big decision. We believe in transparency and fit-first guidance so that every customer rides away confident and satisfied.
Can I test ride a bike before buying?
Yes. Test rides are encouraged and free. We’ll adjust the seat and controls to fit you and explain key features before your ride. Please bring your valid state photo ID and credit card in your name for security.
What brands do you sell?
We are authorized dealers for a variety of manufacturers including Velotric, Aventon, Rayvolt, Blaupunkt, and other reputable brands that emphasize rider safety and safety standards certification as well as long-term parts support.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Yes. We partner with United Consumer Financial Services (UFCS), EPIC Federal Credit Union (EPIC FCU), and Synchrony to make bike ownership affordable. You can apply in minutes and instant approval may be possible, depending on the financial institution and your credit history. EPIC FCU is our local partner and works with local consumers, offering free classes that can improve your credit, which we may offer at the bike shop in the future because we like their local community focus.
Can I buy a bike directly online?
No. We don’t sell bikes online to protect customers from fraud and ensure proper fitting. We can reserve a bike with a small deposit and complete your purchase in person.
Do your bikes come with a warranty?
Yes. Every bike comes with a manufacturer’s warranty. Most include one to two years on electrical components and a lifetime warranty on the frame. We handle warranty claims in-house for bikes purchased through us.
Do you assemble and test the bikes you sell?
Absolutely. Every bike is fully assembled, tuned, and test-ridden by a mechanic before you pick it up. You’ll also receive a free 30-day check-up to re-torque bolts and fine-tune shifting or braking after the break-in period.
Do you service the bikes you sell?
Yes. We stand behind every bike we sell. Our repair department gives priority to our sales customers to ensure fast turnaround and continued support.
Do you take trade-ins or buy used bikes?
We occasionally accept bikes on consignment, a service we offer for those that originally purchased from us as well as customers we know well. Our consignment fee is 30%.
Can you order a bike if it’s not in stock?
Yes. If a model, size, or color isn’t currently in stock, we can special order it provided you make a non-refundable deposit. Most orders arrive in 3–14 business days, depending on the manufacturer.
Do you offer delivery for new bikes?
No. Bikes must be picked up in-store to receive a personalized handoff and test ride before leaving.
Can you help me choose the right size or model?
Yes. We fit every customer individually based on height, inseam, and how you plan to ride — whether it’s commuting, recreation, or touring. We’ll recommend models that balance comfort, performance, and value.
Do you sell accessories or upgrades?
Yes. We offer helmets, locks, racks, panniers, mirrors, phone mounts, and lighting systems. When you buy a bike, we install accessories at no charge during pickup.
